Pastor Chris Robbins
Pastor Chris Robbins was saved and baptized at the age of 10. As a child, teenager, and young adult, Chris put little forethought into living a Christian life and fell away from the things of God and migrated towards the things of the world. Not long into his adult life, his desire to see the world led him to join the Marine Corps and serve for fourteen years.
Coastline Baptist Church (CBC) had recently reshaped the lives of one of Chris's neighbors. By invitation of this same neighbor, Chris and his family attended a Sunday morning service. They enjoyed their visit so much they returned for the Sunday evening service and then for the Bible study on Wednesday night. The Church definitely had God in it – CBC was changing lives! During the next several services and a trip to Pastors' School (2009), God spoke to Chris's heart and he felt God's call for him to serve full time. After months of battling the Lord's will for his life, Chris resigned his commission in the Marine Corps – six years shy of retirement, and surrendered to preach. Subsequently he was called into the ministry at Coastline Baptist Church.
Pastor Chris served as the Assistant Pastor at Coastline Baptist Church for 8 years before being voted in as Pastor in January of 2018.
Chris Robbins is married to the former April Taylor. They have six children: Kyle, Dylan, Tyler, Taylor, Sylas, and Emylee.
Fred Jefferies - Secretary of Finance
Frederick L. Jefferies was born on March 18, 1952 in Jamaica/Queens, New York. During his early years his family moved to Salisbury, North Carolina. Growing up, he never attended church and he never heard the Gospel. After graduation from West Rowan High School in 1970, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and spent the next 30 years serving his country.
On June 2, 2005, former pastor Jon Wrightson knocked on Fred Jefferies' door. One of the first questions Jon asked Fred was if he knew without a doubt that he would go to heaven when he died. No one had ever asked him that question before and it hit him hard. That was the first time someone had taken the time to show Fred how simple the Bible was to understand. Fred knew this was the change he needed in his life; he prayed and accepted Jesus as his Savior that day. He began attending Coastline Baptist Church that following Sunday.
Frederick is married to the former Sheila McManus of Pageland, South Carolina. They have three children: April, Cederic, and Shawn.
